When in Prague

Maro Iordanou Maro Iordanou May 13, 2011

As part of our ongoing efforts to support global demand, Knovel hosted its first EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Partner Meeting last week in Prague. This meeting saw the gathering of 20+ participants from Knovel’s resellers across the region, including from as far afield as Saudi Arabia.

Strategic discussions coupled with practical planning and interactive sessions helped to make this a valuable meeting for all involved.  Growing relationships across EMEA is an important focus for Knovel this year

The meetings weren’t the only thing happening in Prague though! For one thing, we enjoyed a guided tour of the Strahov Monastery where tasting of the local ale from the Strahov Monastic Brewery, which dates back to the 13th Century  was apparently compulsory! The monastery also featured an absolutely breathtaking library, which you can see below courtesy of photos from Knovel colleague Diana Bittern.

More of Diana’s photo’s from Prague can be seen on Knovel’s Facebook page, here.

We also got the chance to view some tremendous architecture throughout Prague. This was no doubt highlighted by the Prague Astronomical Clock. A massive timepiece mounted on the southern wall of City Hall in Old Town Square, the clock was first mounted in the early 15th Century, and is still in terrific working order. An absolutely breathtaking work of art.

Once more, we’d like to sincerely thank all of Knovel’s resellers who were able to make it to Prague for the conference, and we look forward to seeing you all in the future.

  1. Issues i have seen in terms of computer memory could be the fact you can find technical specs such as SDRAM, DDR and many others, that must match the functions with the motherboard. If the private computer’s motherboard is fairly current although you can find no operating-system issues, changing the memory literally takes under sixty minutes. It is 1 of several easiest private computer upgrade techniques one can picture. Thanks for giving your suggestions.
